Madeleine Amelink is a hard working, driven first year Architectural Engineering student at the University of Waterloo.
She likes finding creative and logical ways to solve everyday problems.
From solving math puzzles, shoe design challenges or creating house models, which are projects that can be seen below,
she incorporates her love for design and academics in all the work she produces.
Her determination and persistence have helped her achieve a third degree black belt in karate.
Teaching karate and being a camp counsellor have given her leaderships skills and experience in the workforce.
She has participated in many extra curricular activities including FIRST robotics team, band and community volunteering, to name a few.
